Patients with Delayed Medicaid Application can Request Temporary Medicaid Card over Phone
News (Monday, July 15, 2019)
A new designated automated phone option allows patients with Medicaid applications pending more than 54 days to request a temporary Medicaid card. Temporary cards can be requested by calling the All Kids toll-free number, 877-805-5312, and choosing the first option in the voice response system. If possible, patients or providers with patients on the phone should call and be prepared to tell caseworker their ABE Tracking Number (application tracking number from their online application in ABE.) If they do not have their ABE Tracking Number, the application should be able to be retrieved through name and address and/or Social Security Number. Clients will be evaluated to make sure they have an application pending more than 54 days and the Temporary card will be issued within 48 hours.
